My journey began at Cambridge, where I earned a Double First in Law. I then pursued an LLM from Harvard and qualified for both the New York and English Bars. This solid educational foundation set the stage for a diverse and rewarding career.
Initially trained as a barrister, I soon transitioned to the world of finance, joining NM Rothschild & Sons Limited as a Corporate Executive. Over the years, I've held senior roles in various banks and financial institutions, gaining invaluable experience in corporate finance and business strategy.
In 1999, I founded a firm of solicitors specializing in corporate finance for small and medium-sized UK and US companies. This venture allowed me to combine my legal expertise with my passion for helping businesses grow.
Beyond my professional practice, I served as a Westminster Councillor for eight years, contributing to local governance and community development. I am also co- author of the standard textbook on Takeovers and Mergers, sharing my expertise with the next generation of legal and finance professionals.
Today, I serve as a Director at Pantheon International Advisors Limited. In this role, I provide strategic development advice to support the domestic and international growth of emerging companies.
When I am not immersed in the world of law and finance, I am a proud father of six children. Family has always been a central part of my life, providing balance and perspective to my professional endeavours.
